Welcome to Ukrainian Zoloto (Gold) Home Page.
I started this webring because I was receiving quite a few site
submittals to another one of my Ukrainian webrings (Ukrainians
on the Web) that were purley commercial and for-profit in
nature. Unfortunately, those sites did not meet the requirements
of the UkrWWW webring. In searching out other Ukrainian webrings,
I noticed that webrings for Ukrainian commercial sites was
lacking. So, I decided to add this webring to my list
of webrings that I manage.
Requirements
The basic things that are required to be part
of the ring is to meet the basic requirements listed below and to
place the Webring HTML code (which is e-mailed to you after you
have submitted your site) on that page. The Webring HTML Code must
be placed on the page that you submitted for inclusion into the
ring. This is necessary because there are pages within the
Webring that are written using Ukrainian fonts (KOI8 or 1251) and
many web surfers are not able to read the language.
Requirements to be included in the Webring:
- Submit your web site for consideration into the webring.
Thos ethat are members already may use this form to
change their site ID information.
- NO adult content, pornography, kiddie porn, etc. (This
should go without saying....but I want no
misunderstandings)
- Commercial/for-profit web sites only. Your site must have
some type of product or service to offer. If possible, if
the site is written in any language other than English,
provide an English version for those that do not speak or
write Ukrainian.
- Web site should be maintained by Ukrainians. This webring
is for promoting Ukrainian business/commercial web sites.
- More than one link to other Ukrainian web sites and more
than a Ukrainian Link Page.
- The Webring HTML Code and graphic MUST be added to
the submitted page within 7 days from the date
of submitted. The webring HTML code will be
e-mailed to you after you complete your site submittal.
In a nutshell, after you have submitted your web site for
consideration to be added to the webring, you will have 7
days to add the Webring HTML Code and graphics to your
submitted page. This is necessary so that sites in the
queue move more quickly into the ring. If you are not
moved into the ring within 7 days, your site will be
automatically removed from the queue and you will have to
resubmit it. Also, the HTML code must be placed on the
page you submitted so that people do not have to go
searching for it. This becomes frustrating when the web
site utilizes special Cyrillic fonts and not everyone is
able to or capable of setting these fonts up or able to
read them.
- The Webring HTML Code must be working properly. If
you don't enter your Site ID in the proper places in the
HTML code, the webring won't work. I will not allow gaps/breaks
within the webring, so your site will not be added.
- When you've completed all the necessary steps, you must
then e-mail the RingManager
requesting your site to be added to the ring. I will then
access your site and make sure that the webring is
working properly. If I notice any problems, I will notify
you immediately by e-mail (to the e-mail address you gave
when you submitted your site) and you should correct the
problem(s) as quickly as possible. Because, the clock is
running toward the 7 day limit.
- You will be automatically subscribed to the Ukrainian
Zoloto newsletter. This newsletter's sole purpose is to
keep the webring members informed of changes and updates.
No advertising for any of the webring member's sites will
be allowed or accepted. Information deemed useful by the
Ring Manager may be included in these newsletters.
IMPORTANT!
If you misplace the Webring HTML Code that is
sent to you and/or the Site ID, e-mail me and I will
resend the Webring HTML Code to you.
And a final note......the RingManager is the
only one who can add a site to the ring. The decision to add a
site or not lies solely with the RingManager.
If you have any other questions, make a point
of contacting me by e-mailing
me with them.
